The Usos hail from the renowned Anoa’i family, which boasts many legendary names of professional wrestling. While Jimmy and Jey Usos are twin brothers, they aren’t the only siblings in the family. The Usos’ younger brother’s name is Solo Sikoa, who is one of the rising stars in WWE at present, and self-proclaimed Tribal Chief of the new Bloodline.
The popular twin tag team members were born on August 22, 1985, making them 39 years old at present. The age difference between Sikoa and his older brothers is eight years. Currently, Solo is 31 years old, born on March 18, 1993.
Due to the age gap, Solo Sikoa signed for WWE a decade after The Usos’ WWE debut. Even though they were real brothers, WWE refrained from highlighting their relationship when the trio was part of the OG Bloodline together during Roman Reigns’ epoch-making reign as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. The commentators regularly addressed him as the enforcer of the six-time world champion, Roman Reigns instead of mentioning him as the former champ’s cousin or The Usos’ real brother.
Who Is Solo Sikoa’s Father?
Solo Sikoa’s father is Solofa Fatu, who is known to the WWE Universe as Rikishi. Talisua Fuavai Fatu is the mother of the new Tribal Chief. However, besides The Usos brothers, Solo Sikoa has two other siblings in his family.
Rikishi is the father of all five children, including the current WWE stars, Jey Usos, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa. The former NXT American Champion has three brothers and one sister in the family, making it a large household just like a majority of Anoa’i family members.
While Solo and his elder twin brothers are associated with WWE at present, his fourth brother and Rikishi’s fourth son, Thamiko Fatu, is also a professional wrestler, making his in-ring debut in 2023. He is currently thriving in the independent scene, honing his skills for a possible big stage in WWE. It is widely anticipated that he may become part of The Bloodline, knowing his other three brothers have been the key members of the stable.
What Is Solo Sikoa’s Real Name?
Hailing from the Anoa’i clan, a majority of the family members share the common surname ‘Fatu’. Solo Sikoa’s real name or birth name is Joseph Yokozuna Fatu, with his middle name originating from the former WWE Champion and his uncle, Yokozuna.

Likewise, The Usos’ real names are starkly contrasting to their ring names in WWE. The Main Event Jey Uso’s real name is Joshua Samuel Fatu, while Jimmy Uso’s actual name is Jonathan Solofa Fatu.
The Relationship Between Solo Sikoa And Bloodline Members
Knowing the huge family tree of the Anoa’i family, understanding the relationship dynamic could be challenging. Betraying the OG Bloodline, Solo Sikoa turned on his real-life brothers, The Usos. On the other hand, the Original Tribal Chief, aka Roman Reigns, is his cousin once removed. In theory, Rikishi and Roman Reigns are cousins, but they do not fall in the same age bracket. Roman Reigns and The Usos are of the same age, 39.
The New Bloodline’s enforcer Jacob Fatu, has a direct link with the Anoa’i Family. The Samoan Werewolf is the son of Samuel Fatu, better known as the Tonga Kid in the squared circle. As Tonga Kid is the cousin of Rikishi, it also makes Jacob Fatu the cousin of The Usos and Solo Sikoa.
However, the other New Bloodline members, Tonga Loa, and Tama Tonga, aren’t related to the Anoa’i family or its extended family. Neither of them has Samoan heritage. The duo have a Tongan background.
Tama Tonga is the adopted brother of Tonga Loa. Even though they are not blood-related, they are still siblings belonging to the same family. Their father is the legendary old-school WWE Superstar and a former Tag Team Champion, Haku.
Hence, the Tongan brothers were incorporated into the family tree of The Bloodline on the screen to continue the storyline, eventually leading up to a war between the old and new Bloodline, which is set to happen at Survivor Series 2024.
Similarly, the former Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn was added to Bloodline for a storyline purpose. He is Canadian and comes from Syrian descent.
Solo Sikoa Has Flourished In His WWE Career Thus Far
The Usos are veterans in WWE, boasting an experience of fifteen years in the squared circle. Initially, their expertise was only in the tag team division because the twins created a legacy as one of the greatest tag teams in history, winning eight tag team titles together.
On the contrary, The Usos’ younger brother Solo Sikoa’s WWE career trajectory has been completely different. After a year-long stint in NXT, where he won the NXT North American Championship, he joined The Bloodline as Roman’s right-hand man and the enforcer, assisting the Head of the Table in critical moments to successfully defend his title, including in the main event against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39.
In addition, Solo blossomed in his singles career, picking up the biggest victory of his career against John Cena at SummerSlam 2023.
Once he left The Bloodline following Roman Reigns’ loss at WrestleMania 40, he brought in a new gimmick as the new Tribal Chief, projecting a powerful presence and showing vast improvement on the microphone as the Leader of the new Bloodline.
Sikoa already unsuccessfully challenged the WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam, proving he is gradually becoming a main event attraction in WWE. His current feud is against the biggest star of this generation and his cousin, Roman Reigns.
In only two years of his main roster career, Solo Sikoa has shown great promise and made significant progress as a heel, becoming a main event-level star. If he follows through with the progress and sharpens his microphone skills further, he could become a WWE Champion or a World Heavyweight Champion in no time with a potentially incredible singles career. Given that Sikoa is only 31 years old, he has many years of action left as a WWE Superstar.
