Roman Reigns’ storied career, lasting over a decade, has made him the biggest Superstar of this generation. He is the needle mover, the biggest draw, and headliner of big PLEs in today’s WWE. The Head of The Table has the look of a true WWE Superstar with long hair, a muscular physique, and impeccable tribal tattoos.
As a result of his good looks, he has drawn comparisons with different celebs, notably Hollywood star Jason Momoa, for their identical look. They might pass as the twins, but they aren’t, considering Jason is from Hawaii. The question remains if Roman Reigns has a twin brother, which has been a viral question on the internet. His cousins, Jey, and Jimmy Uso, are among the famous twins in WWE.
Is There A Twin Brother Of Roman Reigns?
The viral speculation about Roman Reigns’ twin brother is factually incorrect. The Original Tribal Chief does have a brother, but he is not a twin brother.

Roman Reigns was born to Patricia Anoa’i and Sika Anoa’i in 1985, making him 39 years old at the moment. Before him, his parents had a son called Matthew Anoa’i. Interestingly, Matthew was born in 1970, and he was an astounding fifteen years older than Roman Reigns.
Roman Reigns’ Brother’s Wrestling Career
Following the family trend, Roman Reigns’ brother became a professional wrestler. Beginning his career in 1995, Matthew Anoa’i was associated with the wrestling business for twenty-two years, performing for various promotions all over the world, notably in Japan and the United States.
In his prime, Matthew was a tag team specialist, capturing the twin titles in different promotions in the US and Japan. He won titles in promotions such as Memphis Championship Wrestling, World Wrestling Council, World Xtreme Wrestling, etc.
However, the most stand-out run of wrestling career was in WWE, where he spent five years. Matthew adopted the ring names Kimo and Rosey in WWE, but he was widely recognized with the latter.
Rosey shone as a tag team star in WWE. He signed for the company and remained in the Stamford-based promotion till 2006. Initially, he was part of The Island Boyz tag team with his cousin and Anoa’i family member, Eddie Fatu. The Island Boyz was later renamed as 3-Minute Warning. Struggling to make a mark, the 3-Minute Warning tag team remained together for a year before Rosey’s partner, Eddie, was released by WWE.
Once 3-Minute Warning was disbanded, Matthew or Rosey aligned with The Hurricane, forming a new tag team. Their superhero gimmick tag team turned out to be a serious contender for the WWE Tag Team Championship. The Hurricane and Rosey won the WWE World Tag Team Championship once together.
Shortly after The Hurricane and Rosey went their separate ways, Rosey was released by WWE. He was let go of his contract in March 2006.
Where Is Roman Reigns’ Brother Rosey Now?
While Roman Reigns has one of the best physiques in WWE, his brother, Rosey, doesn’t share a similar attribute. While his billed height was six feet and seven inches, his recorded weight was over 400 pounds in his prime, putting him in the overweight zone.
Due to his weight issues, Rosey dealt with several health problems, especially after turning 40. In 2014, at the age of 44, he was taken to a medical emergency due to heart failure. Owing to his weight, he also suffered from knee and hip problems around this time.
Three years later, on April 17, 2017, Rosey, passed away due to his prolonged heart problems. At the time of his death, he was only 47 years old.
Roman Reigns Never Shared The WWE Ring With His Brother Rosey
Roman shared a close bond with his brother Rosey despite an alarming age difference. Reigns was only 32 years old when he left the world. The former WWE Champion never received the opportunity to share the ring with his late brother, who is a former WWE Tag Team Champion.
Given Rosey’s proficiency as a tag team specialist, the two brothers could have been a great tag team. If Rosey was still alive today, he could have played an integral role in the Bloodline storyline, which consists of various members of the Anoa’i family.
Roman Reigns’ Family Members In WWE
The former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion belongs to the distinguished Anoa’i family, which is known for the wrestling royalty. While Roman Reigns’ brother Rosey passed away, and he never had the privilege of sharing the same ring, he got the opportunity to do it with his other family members.
Due to his rich wrestling legacy of Anoa’s family, Roman Reigns has been leading WWE’s most popular present-day stable, The Bloodline, consisting of a majority of his family members. Wrestling alongside The Usos, he is related to Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa as cousins once removed, making their father and WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi an uncle once removed.
Moreover, ‘The Final Boss’ The Rock is Reigns’ cousin. Former late WWE Superstars Yokozuna and Umaga were his uncles once removed. The new Bloodline’s Werewolf, Jacob Fatu, is also the cousin of Roman Reigns once removed.
