They exchanged vows after Trish’s wrestling retirement in September 2006. Ron isn’t a wrestling personality nor boosts a notable social media presence like his WWE Hall of Famer wife.

8) Ron Fisico Met Trish At A Young Age

Ron and Trish in 2006, but their love blossomed early in life from their teenage days. They attended Bayview Secondary School in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. They began dating in school days, making them high school sweethearts. Besides studying in the same school, Ron was a friend of one of Trish’s cousins.

The couple was in love for more than a decade before finally walking down the aisle. They officially became a romantic couple at 17 years old. Talking to Renee Peaquette’s podcast ‘Oral Sessions’ in 2021, she opened up how their relationship unfolded. As per Trish,

“I think as a Grade 11, we were like best best best best best friends… I think he (Ron) said something like well you know it is my girlfriend”. Then an intrigued Trish asked him, “Are we like, where is the parameters, where do we check off to see where we changed the title right”.

The former Women’s Champion further added, ” We got there, so I think we became official girlfriend-boyfriend 28 years ago”.

7) He Is 49

Attending the same school in Canada, Trish and Ron belong to the same age group. Born in December 1975, Stratus is 49 years old.

Trish Stratus’s husband, Ron Fisico, is also a 49-year-old. Born in April 1975, the couple shares the same birth year, and he is merely eight months older.

Following an early retirement at 31, the blonde-haired WWE diva opened a yoga studio named Stratusphere. On the other hand, Fisico was never associated with the professional wrestling business, but he worked in an entirely different profession from his wife.

Before gracing the WWE ring, Stratus worked as a fitness model, featuring in various fitness magazines throughout her career. Ron Fisico once aspired to be a bodybuilder after his high school graduation. Due to his passion for fitness, he initially took up the profession as a fitness instructor. Additionally, he has been embroiled in the real estate field for over two decades, acquiring a real estate license in 2002.

Both Ron and Trish grew up in Toronto, the epicenter of the greatest professional wrestlers from top promotions across the globe. The WWE Women’s Champion was a wrestling fan growing up, and her husband was also a passionate fan of the art.

During the same interview with Renee Paquette, Trish Stratus talked about his husband’s love for wrestling and how they used to attend wrestling shows together.

As per Stratus, Ron was a big wrestling enthusiast, and Toronto’s reputation in pro wrestling helped to build the passion in both of them since childhood. They made trips to attend wrestling shows, For instance, they once drove to Florida to attend WCW Nitro as part of their trip.

Trish Stratus aka Patricia Stratigeas, has Polish and Greek backgrounds. She has two other younger sisters. Growing up, she shared a strong bond with her father, John.

1) A Father Of Two Children 

Even though the power couple married in 2006, he waited seven years to become a father. Their first child, a son named Maximus, was born in 2013. 

Four years later, in 2017, Ron Fisico and Trish Stratus had a daughter named Madison. With the birth of two children, the couple had a new added responsibility on their shoulders with the joy of becoming parents. Trish’s best friend, Amy Dumas, better known as Lita, bears the responsibility of Maximus’ godmother.
