Things have heated up ahead of the anticipated US election, where the former President and WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump will go head-to-head against the incumbent Vice President of the country, Kamala Harris. Hulk Hogan has been publicly endorsing Trump amid the election.

Recently, the former WWE Champion looked back on the day they met each other for the first time in person. The Hulkster was a guest on the PBD Podcast recently, which was hosted by Patrick Bet-David.

While talking about the former United States President, Patrick asked Hulk, ” What was your first interaction with Trump?”

Answering the question, Hulk Hogan replied,

“First interaction with Trump was we rented Trump Plaza for WrestleMania 4 and 5. It’s kinda funny because I got pictures on my phone where I’m in the middle of the ring doing the ear thing, bleeding like a pig; you can see him in the front row just cheering and having a blast”.

The legendary WWE Superstar further added, “I didn’t think he would come to the show, but he was there early, came in dress, and met all the wrestlers.” When the host showed him a picture of them from the event, The Hulkster stated, ” (He)Came in the back, met all the wrestlers, and actually sat down and started talking to us. I was really surprised!”

WrestleMania 4 & 5 Were Donald Trump’s Initial Appearances In WWE

Before running for the US Presidency, Donald Trump made a few WWE appearances throughout the years in WWE because he was a close friend of the fellow billionaire and former owner of the company, Vince McMahon. Meanwhile, his first-ever association with WWE was at WrestleMania 4, which was held in 1988.

The grand event took place in the city of Atlanta, and the original venue was Atlanta City Convention Hall. However, WWE prompted the venue as Trump Plaza. The deal centered around advertising Trump Plaza and his brand.

As Hogan cited in the interview, the former President was in attendance at the Showcase of Immortals. The following year the biggest show of the year took place at the same venue, which was again marketed as Trump Plaza.
