The 90s was possibly the best wrestling era in terms of the business’s growth, popularity, and transition to the mainstream world. There was a big war to prove superiority between WCW and WWE, known as the Monday Night Wars. Both companies have tried toppling their ratings number each week.

In addition, the weekly wrestling show, Monday Night RAW, was launched in 1993, followed by WCW Nitro in 1995. SmackDown, the secondary WWE’s weekly wrestling show, was also launched in the late 90s.

In that era, both WWE and WCW had some distinguished blonde-haired wrestlers at the top of the industry. Scrolling through this article, we take a look at some of the top stars of the 1990s who were blonde.

5) Sable

Sable wrestled for WWE in the late 1990s and the early 2000s. She was the most renowned face of the women’s division as a manager and a wrestler. Although she debuted as a s valet, she eventually switched to a wrestler’s role.

She won the Women’s Championship once, making it her only title in her WWE career. Due to her presence in the Attitude Era, she participated in some bold segments.

4) Sid Vicious

Sid Vicious or Sycho Sid’s tenure stretched in WWE, as well as WCW. He reached the pinnacle in both companies, winning the WWE Championship and the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in the 90s. With a muscular frame and impressive height of six feet and nine inches, he possessed the perfect look of a professional wrestler from the 1990s.

Besides the main eventing on WrestleMania, he headlined numerous WCW shows, becoming a top star of the industry in the 90s. While his career waned in 2000, he was still among the most well-known faces in his prime.

3) Edge

Edge was not a singles wrestler yet in the Attitude Era. He took part in The Brood and the tag team, Edge and Christian. The duo clinched the WWE Tag Team belts numerous times and competed in incredible tables and ladders matches.

Standing out from the tag team division, he was one of the recognized faces in the 1990s. Throughout his career, Edge kept a long blonde hairstyle, especially in his prime during the 1990s and 2000s. Now, he doesn’t have the same look, wrestling as Adam Copeland for AEW.

2) Triple H

Apart from The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H was one of the pioneers of the success of WWE in the Attitude Era, taking WWE to a new stature with his brilliant work as a heel. Hunter and Stephanie McMahon were embroiled in one of the greatest on-screen love stories of all time, which transitioned to a real-life relationship, and they are still happily married.

The former WWE Champion and the current creative head of the company had an imposing physique in his heyday along with a lengthy blonde-colored hair. Contrasting to it, he sports a buzz cut now.

1) Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan was the professional wrestling’s most popular face in the 1980s, headlining the biggest Premium Live Events of WWE. In the following decade, The Hulkster continued to be a gigantic star power, jumping ship to WCW. He was the company’s biggest attraction, inspiring numerous former WWE wrestlers to switch loyalty from WCW to WWE. He wrestled for WWE in the early 90s before getting lured by a big WCW contract.

In that decade, he led nWo, the most successful stable of professional wrestling. Even though The Hulkster already had blonde thinning hair from his first WWE days, he still kept it wearing a bandana. He wore a red bandana as a babyface, while a black one as a heel.
